Don't be too excessive

Hello, my friends, long time no write here. This time i want to share a story with you. Have you ever experienced somebody  gives you an excessive  compliment in your life ?  I think in our life everybody got it. But the matter is,  what kind of compliment?  Ok, it might be varied for everybody.

It happened to me in in the mall by a shopkeeper girl two days ago. Hehehehe.... At that time i was looking for something. I had to match the colour with my dress. Then, i found one, and it was pink. From the begining i chose the dress the shopkeeper was so vigorous. She helped me finding the dress and lured me to try it. She gave a positive compliment for every dress that i tried.  From all the dresses that i tried, the pink one was completely fit for me. Then, i decided to buy it.

Here an excessive compliment went..
When i was about to pay it to the cashier, all at once she said "You are beautiful like an artist" ...
Oh My God. Hearing what she just said, i didin't react for a moment then i said "you don't have to say like that"  and my friend Nurul, she just smiled ....  i am not a complimented girl or spoiled girl. So, when i heard it, it was strange. I am frozen girl.  I mean rarely do i give compliment to others. Sometimes i just reply in one word "good"  that's enough not like her who gave an excessive compliment.  Hahahahaha. But it doesnt mean i don't need the compliment. Of course i need it to boost spirit and yet not in such an excessive way. Exceptional, if i have husband i want to be complimented and spoiled by him, hahahahahaa.

Finally, to attract costumers you just have to behave well. Just be patient when you are welcoming them. Keep smiling, and keep showing that you are vigorous to accept them. Just give the compliment duly. That's enough, don't be too excessive ya...  Tks

The Prince Of Pony Hill Is Mr. William Albert Ardley

Ouch,  i have tried hard to get original manga of Candy-Candy until i contacted all the phone number from Kaskus and another social networking just to have it. Before i continue telling you just look at my trying hard just to get manga of Candy-candy:

 then,
then,

then,
then,

then

then,

then,
then,

That's what i have done. It's hard for me to buy the goods by online. Except, the package and money given at the same time. It is what we call "ada uang ada barang" or "No money no Goods" ..

I"m not buying the Manga yet as i still consider it. If i want to collect the Manga i will buy it.  Yup, it's so old and as far as i know itsn't printed anymore.
But i have another solution how to read Manga of Candy Candy.
Yup, i was googling and i found this site ....

And Happy me, as today i have finished this Manga online. And then the question is, why i was so determined wanting to read Manga Candy-Candy?
It because it is unfinished interesting cartoon for me. I just watched it until in the middle. So i have to struggle looking for Manga or DVD to get to its end.

So, i can tell you now that i know the ending of Candy-Candy based on Manga Online.
I can answer my curiousity toward the question, who is the prince of Candy? How about the Candy's friends?

Yup, in Candy's life there are 4 men: The Prince of Pony Hill, Anthony, Terry, and Mr Albert (actually there are the others just like Archie and Alistair but i mention that have special place in Candy's heart you can read for the rest).
  • The Prince Of Pony Hill is the misterious man whom Candy meets when she is 6 years old.
  • Anthony is Candy's First Love and yet he dies when  they are horseback riding with Candy.
  • Terry is the man whom Candy fell in love with after Antony Dies and the first man who kisses Candy. But they breaks up because Terry owes to Suzana as she saves him from fatal accident at the stage.
  • Mr. Albert is the man who helps Candy when she is almost drawning and gets amnesia for a moment. Mr. Albert is always be there when Candy needs help.
And Finally the truth reveals. Who is Mr. Albert and Uncle William that has adopted Candy becomes member of  Ardley Family?

Yup, what a lovely story...
Mr. Albert is Uncle William that considered by Candy as an old man.  And Mr. Albert is also the Prince Of Pony Hill.

And Here are some  pictures that i took from www.mangafox.com:

When Candy is 6 years old, she meets Prince of Pony Hill or Mr. Albert or Uncle William
Candy Remember his saying : little girl you look much prettier when you smile
Mr. Albert or Uncle William in disguise
When Mr. Albert or Uncle William has amnesia and Candy Begs to treat him as she is a trained nurse

Candy's first encounter with Uncle William or Mr. Albert or the prince of Pony Hill
Candy is being Surprised
The confession of Mr. Albert or Uncle William as The Prince of Pony Hill
She gets closer to her Prince
It was the beginning of their encounter :)
Even though i told you it is a lovely story but it is also has lots of sad stories. The better you read the complete/whole story. Why i focused on Mr. Albert or uncle William, Prince of Pony Hill?
It because it is the most misterious part since the beginning....

It is a long serial. And it has different effect  either reading it from Manga or watching the DVD. I feel by watching it through TV we can feel it emosionally and yet by reading from Manga it is less emosional.

And there are some reasons to mark Candy - Candy as favourite one:
  1. It teachs us to be ourselves, how to survive, how to be tough, how to have golden heart.
  2. It gives us idea to choose our own path and pursuing our dreams.
  3. It gives the example how to get along well with our friends, parents.
  4. It helps us to keep our spirit.
  5. It gives us lesson life has so many conditions: Death, Parting, Encounter, Happy, Sad etc.  and Be prepare with that.
  6. It reminds us to care with our surroundings.
  7. It tells us to have positive thingking.
  8. It shows us what love is.
  9. etc.
But, from Manga i read, it is untold who is Candy's Parents. I have Candy-Candy sesion 2 but i am not watching it yet.. i'm gonna tell you someday ya ......

Let's Our Assistant Meet Her Son

This story is begun when i arrived at my lodge. At that time i saw a five -year-old boy with her mother that we know as our assistant. I asked her about the boy.

"Is he your son" i asked her.
"Yess, he is my son and just arrived here along with my husband from Bumiayu", she said.

Then, i feel pity for her. Because he  has left her son and her husband in her town for working here.
And i just wonder  about her husband.
Is her husband working?
Of course I don't know about it. But i think if her husband as a truly breadwinner she won't work here in crowded Jakarta.

As i know Javanese women they are very strong. They are as a truly breadwinner not their husband.
My firiends and me, we have the same sight about her.
She is the most innocent assistant that we ever had here and she is newcomer here.
I mean, she cant hide something. If i have a bone to pick for something she will report it to the owner of our lodge. She can't be more selective to what our saying. Which one must be kept, must be shared or told to other.

But we agree that she is so kind. I believe she will never become a sudden unpredictable assistant just like the other that we ever had. But don't forget with the Job, stay focus even though husband and child around you.
And  if i were the owner of lodge i would do the same with The Mrs. to let her gather with her little family occasionally.

Jam Gadang

Have you ever been to Bukittinggi, West Sumatera?
Yup, if somebody asks me like that, i absolutely will answer, "yes, i  have ever been to Bukittinggi and seen Gadang watch or jam gadang"....  heheehehe,...
Finally, i can experience myself ..... what is Jam Gadang  like... and Just see these the pictures :

Jam Gadang, Buktitinggi
Pose in front of Jam Gadang
Notice for number 4, it can be seen IIII not IV
Unfortunately, when i saw it, the sky was cloudy but it didin't bother me at all.
according to the guide's explanation, it is said, Jam Gadang is built in 1826 and the watch itself came from the Dutch in 1926 brought through bayur bay. It is believed that the machine of this watch there are only two in the world. The other is Big Ben in england.
Then, the architect of Jam Gadang is Sutan Rajo Gigi Ameh. The Guide also told me in Bukittinggi, it is forbidden to build  a building higher than Jam Gadang. So, Jam Gadang is the maximum of height for the building there.

For the number IIII, why it isn't written IV?
The guide told me at that time there were 4 (four) people who died from above of the Watch (when it was built), so to respect the people who died it is written IIII not IV. I think you need to ask another person about it.
What do you think about this "Jam Gadang? "
